i have a L1501DT same as the L185DT, got parts for it real easy. I ordered a book for the L185 and use the numbers off of it. I dont know about yours. but looks like the other post has the info.

I looked at both of them, and took the L2500 with loader. The hydro is a bit faster on back and forth movement, just push the peddle and with the 2500 you have to change gear. IF your working all day on it every day then it would make a differance, but if you use the loader like i do, ( I have a grounds and landscape service) The saving in time will not make up for the savings in cost and upkeep. The 2500 is bigger and will do more work with the 3 point. The loader is just one part of the tractor, I use 8 other things that hang off the back. Most of the time I have the loader off the tractor anyway so I dont have to haul it around. I also do some farm work with it, (very small, and just for fun) As the others said you will have to make up your own mind, but I hope this helps you out some.<br>Rick Smith<br>http://www.janrix.com/cgls

I have a garden 18.5 tractor with all the stuff that goes with it. Plow, dise, box blade. gas engine, runs and works great. does all the small stuff around the house and cuts the grass. Ag wheels and with 50lb added to each. Its not bad for small work and I still love it. Do not want to sell it. I also have a 20hp kubota. As the guy said it will pick up the 18.5 hp garden tractor and will out work it so bad that its not worth even talking about. The only problem is that a new garden tractor goes for $2500 new and I guess you know what the 20hp one goes for. If i had it all to do over I would not have gotten the garden one with all the stuff i have with it now. (I also have all the stuff that goes with the 20hp K. It may be compact but its a real tractor and will do a real days work for a person, and still be able to work the next day.<br>I broke a set of ramps loading it and each ramp was rated at 1000lb each.)<br>not to smart on my part, but lets you know the size of the 20hp to the 18.5hp.<br>the 16hp kubota's will do a fine job for any one in most places. thats the b7300<br>Mine is a L, but its setup as a farm tractor. Also more land has been worked with a small alles or jd than you will ever know.<br>Hope the 'old man
